Informs Information Systems Society (ISS) Sandra Slaughter Early Career Award Winners
The spirit of the Informs ISS Sandra Slaughter Early Career Award is to honor the memory of the late Professor Sandra Slaughter who was tireless in her pursuit of recognizing the potential leaders of the “next generation” of information systems academics.
Established in 2015, the award recognizes and honors early-career individuals who are on a path towards making outstanding intellectual contributions to the information systems discipline.

Conference on Information Systems and Technology 2022
The Tepper Business Technologies group attended the 2022 Conference on Information Systems and Technology (CIST) 2022 in Indianapolis, Oct. 15-16. Yan Huang, Associate Professor of Business Technologies at Tepper, co-chaired the conference. Tepper Business Technologies group members who presented their work include Qiaochu Wang, Liying Qiu, Zoey Jiang, Yan Huang, and Param Vir Singh.
Qiaochu Wang and Param Vir Singh's paper, Algorithms, Artificial Intelligence and Simple Rule Based Pricing was nominated for the Best Student Student Paper award.

The John DC Little Award in Marketing
The paper Can an AI algorithm Mitigate Racial Economic Inequality? An Analysis in the Context of Airbnb by Shunyuan Zhang, Niting Mehta, Param Vir Singh, and Kannan Srinivasan was the runner-up to the prestigious John DC Little award in Marketing 2021. The award is given annually to the best marketing paper published in Marketing Science, Management Science, or another INFORMS journal.
